Installation

Welcome to PmaControl!

You’re just a few steps away from setting up your deployment. Install PmaControl on a dedicated host, then activate your trial.

The official script configures the signed repository and installs the packages, MariaDB and the FrankenPHP web runtime.

Supported systems: Debian 12/13 and Ubuntu 24.04/26.04, amd64 architecture. Installation time depends on your connection and host.

On Debian 13 amd64, sign in as root and run:

apt-get update && apt-get install -y ca-certificates wget
wget https://pmacontrol.com/install.sh -O install-pmacontrol.sh
bash install-pmacontrol.sh

Open a web browser at: https://<PmaControl_host>/fr/user/connection/
Sign in with the credentials generated in /root/pmacontrol-install.env, then choose a personal password.
In PmaControl, open the License page, copy the application UUID and activate your trial using this form.
Paste your license into PmaControl. You can then add your MariaDB / MySQL servers.

The script requires access to the APT repositories. For an offline environment, contact us to prepare the packages and their dependencies.

The script automatically selects the repository for your system. Advanced configuration and post-installation checks are described in the guide.
